Karate Kid

I have noticed something. I take Goju Ryu karate and the founder of the form is Chojun Miyagi. I was watching karate kid the other day and the form that Mr. Miyagi is teaching Daniel san is almost exactly Goju Ryu. And his teachers name is Miyagi. Somebody working on that movie had done their history research. Do any of you have connections like that?

Pat Morita is a Hox though. However, Fumio Demura did the stunt work for him. That is pretty cool. I also heard that someone tried sueing the makers of that movie for using the Miyagi name. Don't know how much truth is behind that though.

All i know is that the Writter of the Script "karate kid" is an actual Karate Black Belt. But I don't remember his name right now.

 

Also, they had Fumio Demura. Im sure he gave some good advices.

Oh that film Mr miyagi and mr yagi in the movie some how they look the same not really they are about the same age
