I think a lot of people out their think they are really training in a combative martial art even if they are not. A lot of people are mis-led about how realistic their art really is. Its a shame but I know this is true I have met a few of these people.

A True Martial Arts Instructor is more of a guide than anything, on your way to developing the warrior within yourself!!!!!

I do Kyoksuhin and would say that its fully combative. Not to say that we only do practical combat training - we do katas etc...but its a powerful style and all the techniques we train at are applicable in real life situations.

(sorry if that didnt make sense/grammatical errors. Extremely tired)
