"1 versus many" battles

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for any documentation on any actual REAL LIFE fights that involved multiple attackers against a lone individual, where the one man/woman came out the victor. I'm talking from ancient history to right now, as long as the story can be reasonably assumed to be the truth and without (much) exaggeration. Now as I've read posts here from you guys how some of you have taken on multiple opponents, for the sake of quantity, I request only submissions concerning fights where the one individual fought at least 6 adversaries. I would prefer first hand documentation, not like, "I heard this guy once saw this other guy..."

Thanks in advance guys. Mike

I know of one karate guy that successfully defended against 5 cowboys alongside the highway years ago, but I don't have enough details or firsthand knowledge to talk about it.

Myself, I was in a fight against 3 guys in a parking lot back in 1987. To make a long story short, I nailed one guy hard right on the nose, the 2nd guy got a solid snap kick to his mid-section, and the 3rd guy didn't want to play with me, so I helped him get his bud's in the car and they drove away. Scared the hell out of me after I thought about it, but I had no choice in the matter. Purely self-defense.

My nightly prayer..."Please, just let me win that PowerBall Jackpot just once. I'll prove to you that it won't change me!"

1 vs. 6?!?

This reminds me of a newspaper article where a person tried to steal a large van at a gas station, and didn't realize that the judo team that had been riding in it was just around stretching their legs.

I bet anyone with "first hand documentation" of an event like that will probably have been on the side with six people. :)
