Dijita
Right now, every class. This is because Canadian's are next weekand so we are concentrating on fight training. Normally though I would say at least once a week we do pad work.

aefibird
Every week in my instructors freestyle self defence class. Roughly once a week in karate lesson, but it depends on what we're doing and working on that week. Good luck for the Canadian's, Dijita - are you entering or is it just others from your dojo? renketsu
In my lessons: About one week in every 5/6 weeks In my senior's lessons: Never Pad work is something I think is very important for developing useful techniques... I think everybody falls backwards or 'bounces off' when hitting a pad or bag for the first time... I know I did We use a thick pad for power (adults only - dont want damaged joints etc for the kids!) and focus mits for accuracy (all students). Andy.
