Reklats Posted May 4, 2004 Author Posted May 4, 2004 Well, in a perfect world his shin would've hit me in the forearm. I just reacted and lined up a little wrong. We were sparring nearly full go, so I understand that stuff will happen. What bothers me is that its still swollen/painful.
White Warlock Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 joint injuries do tend to take longer to heal. Ice regularly (it's a small appendage, so no more than 10 minutes at a time or you'll be hindering the healing process, rather than helping it). You may also want to get it xrayed, just in case. Reklats Posted May 4, 2004 Author Posted May 4, 2004 The x-ray people here at school know me too well already. I'll give it a few more days first
aefibird Posted May 4, 2004 Posted May 4, 2004 hah, that's the trouble with being a martial artist - you can get to know the staff at your GP's or local A&E (ER) really well... It's even worse if you're a clumsy accident prone martial artist like me. Hope it gets better soon Reklats! "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..."
