aefibird
, or maybe you just intimidate them (a common problem for martial arts women ) hey ay, tell me about it. I've talked to guys in the past and they've got really stressed about me being a martial artist. It's maybe because I'm short & small and they don't really think I'm capable of kicking them in the head. I was once chatting to a male friend of my cousin and he asked what I liked doing, so I told him "Martial Arts". He didn't believe me and eventually asked me to do some moves on him to prove I knew martial arts. I did. It ended up with him thrown onto the floor, my foot hovering above his groin and my fist in his face. Well... he did ask!! lol "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." DLopez
Getting back to the original poster's complaint of the boy she was seeing not pleased about having to share her time, I'm thinking that it probably had nothing to do with the fact that it was martial arts that pre-occupied her time, but just that perhaps this guy was just overly posessive, and would have complained even if she was taking knitting class. Life has a way of re-arranging our priorities, and when you think you've found "the one", you might find that you are adjusting your time to fit his/her schedule. Life is funny that way! Enjoy! Mc. Steve
My mate says "The things that define what we do are time and money" Not sure I fully agree with this, as relationships come into it somewhere, but I see where he's comin from. Just though it might fit somewhere here. World famour for idiotography6th Kyu Wado Ryu5th Gup Tang Soo Do1st Dan Origami
Treebranch
It would be great to find someone with common interests period. krunchyfrogg
I just wanted to get into thie thread before that dorky kid who posts pics of himself with his shirt off. Seriously though, it's great to find someone with similar interests, as a matter of fact, it's essential in a relationship that will work and last. My fiancée isn't a warrior, but we both share many other interests, and it's what holds us together. I can't imagine my wife doing MA. (It just wouldn't work) I would prefer she didn't. When you young un's get a little older you will know the value of getting out without the wife(or husbsnd) time.
