Sorynn Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 Hello everyone. I am getting ready to start my second week of bjj, and I am loving it so far. The drills and fitness and rolling are exactly what I hoped they would be. I can feel my core strengthening and my sense of perception increasing after only one week. I do not have too much to add, I was just excited and felt like sharing.
WolverineGuy Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 Congrats on starting. Stick with it, BJJ is one of my favorite arts. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon."

Martial Boy Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 Belive it or not, I used to be in this forum for one and a half years now, but forgot my username and I don't know what Bjj means.
White Warlock Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Natural, it stands for brazilian ju-jutsu "When you are able to take the keys from my hand, you will be ready to drive." - Shaolin DMV TestIntro
Rich_2k3 Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 I know this is abit of topic but whats the difference between traditional and Brazilian Ju-jitsu? I'm interested because I'm contomplating talking one up in the near future. "When my enemy contracts I expand and when he expands I contract" - Bruce Lee
JLee Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 i think that BJJ focuses more on grappling and groundfighting then regular jj when there are more trapping and locking
