I've been studying Shotokan Karate for a few months now, learning katas on my own but I'm starting to gain interest in Aikido as I'm a huge Steven Seagal fan.

I know that Seagal is a master of Aikido and Kenpo, but I have no clue what Hapkido is and how it is different from Aikido.

If your enemy refuses to be humbled......you must destroy him.

hapkido is korean. that means that it has more kicks and stuff in it. but some joint locks are similar to aikido.

Be everything. Be nothing.

Here is a webiste, that explains some of the differences between Hapkido and Akido. http://www.hapkiyoosool.com/hist.htm

So you know, there is some debate on the origins and history of Hapkido within our own community, but most people would agree with the basics on the above page.

Respectfully,
