Thaegen Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 If someone can explain this:)? I know there is a difference, I just don't know what.
cross Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 Don't be confused! VING TSUN, WING CHUN, WING TSUN, OR VING CHUN are the same style of Kung Fu which originated from YIP MAN in Hong Kong in 1950. It is just different in spelling from different Chinese Sifus in Hong Kong, when they introduced it to the western world after YIP MAN's death (1972). Nowadays, there are the CLASSICAL (Original, Traditional) MODIFIED and the IMITATIONS of Ving Tsun Kung Fu all over the world. Of course, there are quite a lot of differences between each one as well as each Sifu and each instructor. This information comes from http://www.vkcvt.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/SchoolPolicy.htm <<< take a look.
