Before I continue to take advise from anyone I would like to know one thing. HOW MUCH OF YOU ACTUALLY PRACTICE MARTIAL ARTS? I dont want those ppl who have been sleeping at a Holiday in Hotel (if u know what I mean) to advise me!

Do unto others, as they done to you.

TKD,

There is a theory in regard to this. People can say things online that aren't true. You get advice from them or not. What you say that you study, isn't neccessarily to be taken true by anyone else. Asking online what knowledge people have isn't gonna be that important.

That said, most people are honest. And at times, a White belt gives better advice then a Black belt.

Keep it all in mind.

TKD,

Why, did you find someone's advise not valid? I have to agree with Patrick. Unless you do background checks on all of us, you'll never know fo sure.

I'm 2nd degree black belt in Kuk Sool Won. If that's not good enough, you can call the Kuk Sool Won dojang in Mahopak NY, and ask the owner, KSN Ed Binns, what rank I am. I'm also on record with the Kuk Sool Won Association world headquarters.

However, that does not mean that my advice is any better or worse than those that have taken the route of training themselves in a variety of martial arts. So, I guess I'm at a loss as to how this helps you.

My six plus years in the martial arts aren't that much I realize. And the odds and ends of martial related things I did earlier by no means make me an expert.

My situation is far different than most of you. Much of my training has been mental. Most of my battles are against the things in life I have little or no control over. I may joke around at times but I assure you that I am very serious about my martial arts.

why the pessimism from someone who claims to be TKD MAGEE???......we take you for what you are and by the same means, you should take us the same........to each there own and all opinions are welcome..........

TKD,

Another thing about the net, is nothing should ever be taken as true or be a given. I am not saying that I don't trust my users, but I have a common understanding of the net that I don't believe everything I read.

I agree with the other people on this thread.

And Sai, I like joking around. If there is one thing I want this site to be, it is fun.

I always take Pat, Rushman, KickChick, IamRushman, and Taezea's posts seriously for advise on Fitness or Martial Arts. Some other people I am weary of. Maybe Its because of the way they post subjects. Just an open thought.
