Guy_Mendiola Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 These two arts are yeah both grappling arts but Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has more tatical techniques than Judo where that is Judo has more takedowns some derived from Japanese Jiu-Jitsu I think and In my opinion the BJJ practitioner would win if they had a fight like on the ground because BJJ ground game is more pure.
goshinman Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 If a pure wrestler fought a BJJ expert or a Judo expert he would most likely be submitted by both. Generally speaking Bjj people are more technical on the the ground then most judoka. Of cousre there are always exceptions but generally this is true. Same goes for judoka being better at throws then bjj peolple. Thats just the way it is. Now bjj vs kosen judo.... That's something I would LOVE to see. Tapped out, knocked out, or choked out...Take your pick.http://jujitsu4u.com/http://www.combatwrestling.com/http://gokor.com/
