Kickbutt Posted November 16, 2001 Posted November 16, 2001 OH YEAH! I just saw his movie 'The One'. I liked it but the beginning was best - the rest of the movie wasn't as good as those first fight scenes - they were fantastic! Karateka_latino Posted November 16, 2001 Posted November 16, 2001 I'm not really a fan , but i like a lot of his movies,.. specially the NO wires ones. He have a good technique and quick, cool moves.
Iron Arahat Posted November 16, 2001 Posted November 16, 2001 His best movie in my opinion was "Fist of Legend". The martial arts sequences are amazing. Martial Arts School http://www.shaolinwushu.cahttp://www.liveyyc.comCalgary Photographer: http://www.jdirom.com
Ahazmaksya Posted November 17, 2001 Author Posted November 17, 2001 I'm still hanging out to see KOD, still haven't managed to watch it.
Hapkido-Cougar Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 Yeah... but not that really, i dont really like Jet Li! his not that popular anymore! I think the popular today is American Actors.. Cougar KENPO Green belt master
Withers M.A.A. Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 Jet Li rules!!!! I would say he is somewhat the modern day Bruce Lee. He might not be as great a fighter but as far as skill goes he's amazing. 2nd Degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do. 1997 NASKA competitor-2nd place Nationally in Blackbelt American Forms. OldRookie Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 I myself think that his flicks just keep getting better-but; "Fist of Legend" is still my favorite. KOD was pretty good & the end fight scene between the 2 Jets in The One was pretty awsome, even with the wire work. The final fight between the good N evil Jet in slo-mo with the sparks raining down from the machinery was cool! Anyone know where I can pick up a DVD of FOL?...all I can find is "The legend 2"."Red Dragon" & of course his numerous "Once upon a time in..."series (I 'll check Amazon-they usually have everything) *1st Dan Oct 2004*"Progress lies not enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.""It is better to deserve honors and not have them than to have them and not deserve them."
