Underdog
What style does Jackie Chan use? Not that i want to be like Jackie, i am just curious what you call it. I have pretty much decided on Combat Hapkido for myself for general self defense in life, if that doesn't work, well then there is always Kel Tec, H&K or Sig Sauer... tommarker
Jackie Chan was trained in the Peking Opera. Lots of acrobatics and martial arts. I've heard him in various interviews discuss hapkido as an art he's studied formally. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.

blitzcraig
sounds about right. I knew of the opera/dance part. A lot of good MA practicionars(SP) took a dance class to be able to do things with such grace and style #1"The road to tae kwan leep is an endless road leading into the herizon, you must fully understand its ways". #2"but i wanna wax the walls with people now" #1"come ed gruberman, your first lesson is here.....boot to the head" #2"ouch, you kicked me in the head", #1"you learn quickly ed gruberman"
tommarker
Jackie Chan did a lot more than that. His family sold him to the opera company at a very young age. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.

Uechi Kid
I’ve also heard Jackie Chan say that he is not a martial artist. He considers him self to be a stunt man. I really like watching him do his thing. More Practice
