ESA-Shotokan Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 One thing I have found which is so very much absent from my karate career are photographs of me getting older and pictures of myself with old sensei! First reason is because I am camera shy but I must admit, I regret it a bit. I am going to make it a point to get more pictures of whom I train with, especially with good instructors. Have people on here found it easy to approach a visiting sensei for a quick photo opportunity?
White Warlock Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Hehe, i don't believe i have even one picture of me training, wearing a gi, or standing next to any of my previous instructors. I think i'll look into this. "When you are able to take the keys from my hand, you will be ready to drive." - Shaolin DMV TestIntro
Sasori_Te Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Yep, I actually posted one here in the photo section. A block is a strike is a lock is a throw.

karatekid1975 Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I have a lot of pics (some in the KF photo album). But I do have to admit, they are kinda old LOL. But none with my instructors Laurie F
ramymensa Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Well, I should make a photo of myself and my instructors. They are OK so no problem, except that i'm kinda lazy World Shotokan Karate
gheinisch Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Pictures are great! We always take pictures as a group when we have a visiting instructor come to our class to teach. We have had instructors come from Seattle, Florida and Boston. The one from Boston actually brought a student of his down who was testing for his Third Degree Black Belt. That was awesome to see. We have pictures. Take pictures, it's great to look back and see faces from your extended family that you have crossed paths with. tommarker Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 One of our club's instructors is a semi-professional photographer. The one thing we have is lots and lots of photographs. It's great that I can see pictures from my first gup test, all the way up to my last test. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
Guest Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I'm having a difficult time finding the photos section ... could somebody help me out?
