I like to use my side kick and back fist to death, it stops people form rushing in, but just remember all those balck belts were once in your shoes. Everyone takes their lumps, the ones who learn form them are usually wearing a black belt.

Keep it simple. Even now, I tend to rely on front kicks, straight punches and back fists. Just practice combining those moves for some time, and use a lot of movement. I've found that its movement that makes combos work for me. With each move, I make a sidestep either during or just after the move. Occasionally you might throw a side kick or roundhouse in there, but for me they're not usually fast enough to score with.

Try this...I hope my terminology is not to different from yours.

From a fighting stance throw a front punch at the opponents chest, and then a reverse punch right behind it, then immediately follow the reverse punch with a rear inner crescent kick to the head.

Don't worry about the punches landing, they are mearly a way to get the hands down, but you do have to 'sell' them. In other words they have to look like you are trying to make them connect.

Give it a try...Good luck!

Thanks, I will try that, looks very successful, its also a good way to make your oponent think.
