Kicks Posted August 10, 2004 Posted August 10, 2004 I got the nick name Kicks back in 1995 when I first got interested in sparring in competitions. I would throw a flurry of kicks at my opponents when attacking and on counter attacks. I once had an opponent tell me after a match that he got to a point in the fight that he didn't even want to throw any kicks at me because every time he did I would slam him with multiple kicks. when you create the world's largest trailer park, you're going to have tornadoes
spin_kick Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 well i'm learning all the spinning kicks at the moment. before i signed up i'd been in the backyard practicing (well, falling down alot) for about three hours, so it was the first thing that came into my head.
Shorin Ryuu Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 I take Shorin Ryu karate. "Ryuu" is the proper romanization of the commonly accepted (and thus proper nowadays) word "Ryu" as in style as well as dragon. That is the roots of my avatar and nickname. Because dragons are cool, right? ...riiiiiiiight..... Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/

Fat Donkey Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 My master was telling me that u can't train a donkey to be a warhorse or vice versa. He also called me Fat Boy all the time. After he said this I would bray like a donkey before sparring. He started calling me donkey and I added the Fat. Luckily I'm drop dead handsome and super smart or my ego might have taken a beating.
