tommarker
Anyways.. not wanting to contribute too much to thread drift. Did you instructor get his start in the MDK, i.e. trained under Hwang Kee? I'm not trying to knock the way you guys do things, it just seems odd that a school that aligns itself with Hee Il Cho, does ITF forms (and Bassai) would call itself Moo Duk Kwan unless there was a connection of sorts. I guess I'm saying that I'm nosy. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
Ox
Here is a little info on the Gm that I found.I will ask my instructor tommorrow after class for more info. [The KIM SCHOOL is an association of Tae Kwon Do schools under the leadership of Grandmaster Ju Hun Kim. Grandmaster Kim is a former Korean national champion, instructor for the Republic of Korea's army, and graduate of Kyong Hee University. A student of General Choi, Grandmaster Kim was one of the pioneers of Tae Kwon Do in the U.S., and is one of only a handful of martial artists to earn the 9th degree rank.]
