CAFRedblade
Hi there, I'm a television broadcasting student working on a docuementary about a woman who at 18 is a university student, plays in a brass band and is also a student/instructor of Jiu Jit Su(she has attained Black Belt, unsure of the degree). She instructs those under 15 with guidance from her Sensi. I'm trying to focus the short Doc.(it is only going to be around 12 minutes) and i'm currently looking at it from the personal effect it has on her life, and how it has guided her. The Angle is of women in martial arts and why, what do they relate to within the teachings of martial arts. I was hoping for some comments and ideas. Thank you. blitzcraig
Well, start from the beginning, ask what turned her on to jujitsu, and work from there, eventually it should piece itself together....hopefully. Good luck! #1"The road to tae kwan leep is an endless road leading into the herizon, you must fully understand its ways". #2"but i wanna wax the walls with people now" #1"come ed gruberman, your first lesson is here.....boot to the head" #2"ouch, you kicked me in the head", #1"you learn quickly ed gruberman"
stl_karateka
I agree with blitzcraig. Start with why she wanted to get into the martial arts? why juijitsu? Did she face any oppression / stereotyping as a female in the MA? KarateForums.com Sempai

aefibird
You coukd also look at how long she's been studying Jujitsu and the effect it has had on her life, especially as she's only 18. Good luck with your project!! "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
