I know, I know, you can't learn from a video. I agree, but I'm looking for new ideas' for my dojo. Can anyone suggest a good title?

BAs Rutten's videos are great. He has a complet set form basics to advanced standup, takedowns, grappling, etc

Has any one taken a look at Bas Rutten's big book of Combat? It looks neat, but the two books cost a bit of change; so I'd like to know what others think of it.

If you have a training partner they can be a great resource, they have alot of good info in them.

if you are looking for training ideas, combos etc:

the Fairtex series is good.

the Rob Kaman Series is old but not bad

Benny the Jet has a good series

Muay Thai vol.1 & 2 with Vut Kamnark is good

Sanshou with Cung Le vol.1 , 2, and 3 is decent

Ringside has great boxing videos

I found Rob Kaman's video's on Kazaa, but the guilt set in and I'm going to order the set.

The Rob kaman Series is fine, but at that time

it was common to show a combination or series

of techniques, and then show again in slow motion.

a little of that goes a long ways, and some of these

2 hour tapes could be distilled down to 20-30 min.

I personally do not need to see Shin conditioning

by Kicking a tire in Slooooow motion many times.

:)

other than that, there is some good stuff on there.

Joe lewis also put out a set as well with decent material.

if i recall, he does not take into account low

kicks though. but he has other material that

makes up for that deficeit.

good luck!
