Guest Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 Am am doing some research on shaolin animal forms, particularly the Shuri-ryu (Trias) interpretation of them. I would appreciate any information in regards to and any instruction on how they are performed. I am also curious to know how people use them in practice: Just for training, or real-world application?
gheinisch Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 Here's a link with some info on the five animal forms. Hope this helps some. http://www.shaolin.com.au/animal.html "If your hand goes forth withhold your temper""If your temper goes forth withold your hand"-Gichin Funakoshi
equaninimus Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 Trias' link to Shaolin, or to Okinawan Karate, for that matter is highly questionable. There have always been Starkadders at Cold Comfort Farm!
