Kickbutt
Hey everyone - I forgot to mention to you all last week to go check out the interview on Radio Martial Arts - it's regarding an old debate we had going regarding armed pilots...very interesting views from a pilot who believes that they should all be armed - I especially liked Mike Bremner's comments (he's hilarious, he trains at Champions too) because, as I'm sure you know - I agree with Mike's view. Check it out soon, cause I think they're gonna change it soon! Also, if you're interested, check out the tips on kickboxing.com, by my dojo's Master/Owner - Farid Dordar - that's my school you see in the videos!! I'm so proud...oh yeah - one more thing - you have to check out Blake "The Blade" Lirette - he's my blue belt Sensei/Instructor and he's pretty awesome to see in action - doing really well so far in his pro career - no losses yet! OK, I'm done gushing now - see ya'll later. Jiggy9
You train in Farid Dordar 's Dojo? No way..thats pretty cool man..i've been watching his tips thing for months now..and there was that article about him. And Blade'z video is freaking amazing....very very professionaly done man! lol.. I heard that martial arts radio a while back, it was up straight after the september 11th incident, and he had a v.good point. But im thinking if pilots are trained and allowed to carry arms onto the flight, whats going to stop a corrupt pilot from causing chaos? or what happens if a 'terrorist' who initially has no arms manages to take the arms from the hostess? Angus
Jiggy, dude, i think it's only the pilots who would be armed. I don't think there would be anything stopping a corrupt pilot from taking over a plane but pilots are amoungst the most highly tested people in the world. You don't often hear stories about horror pilots trying to kill his passengers. Angus Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
