Many good aspects to bjj. I enjoy after learning the art and then going to the sport side it is fun game. LIke a game of chess. You move opponent counters, and vice versa until check mate= tap out, black out, or snap!

You know if the moves work or not. Because if they don't they don't work. Because you got a resisting oppenent trying to tap you out also.

Not many people know the ground game so its also gives a bit of an edge for one on one unarmed fighting. I think this is sort of the reason I backed away from TMA. I was tired of point fighting tourments, techniques that are difficult near impossible to do with a resisting oppenent.

Every one has there cup of tea. This is mine.

That is all.

I think in any MA simplicity is the key. BJJ sounds like fun. Too bad all the schools around me are way too expensive. I'm having a lot of fun with Budo Taijutsu which in many ways in simple as well. There is only one way of moving and from this one way of moving comes endless techniques. It's really brilliant. :)

awesome. I don't know much of Taijitsu. Met some sempai in some Ninpo or Taijitsu club in Arizona around Arizona State University. I wasn't impressed though. He tried some joint locks but wasn't really good at them.

I read some books by Stevean K Hayes. I thought the moves in the books looked goofy though. So it would be nice to see some good practioners of the Art instead of looking at books or from my experience from one guy who didn't seem that good so I can get a better impression of the art.

OH and yeah Jiu-Jitsu schools are pretty expensive.
