monkeygirl Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 I don't think they have a problem with female martial artists so much as models dressing up like practitioners and giving MA (TKD in particular) a bad name. Anyway, that's how I feel about it. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
equaninimus Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 Depends on if she's cute, and how much of the gi she is actually wearing. There have always been Starkadders at Cold Comfort Farm!
aznkarateboi Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 Hey tom, I don't have a chip. Just think that guys in here should resepct other martial artisit, regardless of sex. Something you need to learn too obviously. Um, is it just me or is it quite obvious that that girl isn't actually a real martial artist? She is obviously just a model that is promoting the art. Also, I don't think a person with such poor form should be respected as a martial artist, regardless of sex.
tommarker Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 Hey tom, I don't have a chip. Just think that guys in here should resepct other martial artisit, regardless of sex. Something you need to learn too obviously. Oh, I'm sorry. It wasn't a chip... it was a high horse. When you finally fall off it and see some of my other posts, I think you'll see that I have nothing but respect for female martial artists. But I don't need to prove it to a total stranger, the women in my club already know. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
