Drunken Monkey Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 if chinese food is so bad (fattening) for you, how come you don't see many massively over-weight chinese people? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Valithor Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 Because Western Chinese food is not the same as Eastern Chinese food (I've been to China) Keep Smiling!
Drunken Monkey Posted January 14, 2004 Author Posted January 14, 2004 where did you go? i was in shang hai a few years back. don't understand how everything could shut at 10pm. nice place but not that much different to hk (except the people are even louder and more rude...) you know how many people want to go and train in the shaolin temple? well, my goal is to go to canton (futsan) and visit as many of the martial arts schools with history as possible. imagine standing in the same courtyard in which wong fei hung taught lam sai wing. or seeing the street where places like jan sang tong stood. i have a really strange image of old china from all of the dodgy hk flicks that was inflicted on me as a child and it'd be intereseting to see what the heart of southern chinese martial arts is like now. y'know, i'd probably get laughed at by the locals. or worse yet, from what i've seen on tv, it seems like martial arts is the main industry and there are more mcdojos per square foot than people. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."

superleeds Posted January 14, 2004 Posted January 14, 2004 In Europe and the US, we tend to throw gallons of sause on the food. Read a book!
Drunken Monkey Posted January 15, 2004 Author Posted January 15, 2004 if your flight really does crash, are those little seatbelts really going to save your life? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
wrestlingkaratechamp Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 Maybe because they don't have the KFCs and the Mcdonlads
Drunken Monkey Posted January 15, 2004 Author Posted January 15, 2004 why don't high speed trains have seltbelts? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Valithor Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 I think the seatbelts in planes are there to save you from injury in the event of a rough landing or turbulance. In a crash their purpose is to help identify your body.. Keep Smiling!
