mastertae Posted December 17, 2001 Posted December 17, 2001 I know the site you gotthe article actually neither jackmans, linda lee's account of the incident is accurate...doing some investigation it is known that neither got seriously injured..but Bruce Lee did mnage to hit Jackman in the back of the head...what probably means that Bruce may have indeed been holding back...if bruce really wanted o kill him he would have broken Jack mans neck and ended...but he has lived in the U.S, and knew he wouldbe in trouble...anyways i ws a fight both regretted...and one person in partcular beleives he gave jack man the impession o serius bodily harm to intimidate Jackman...so there are many theories about he fight...jack man sai he grabbed bruce lee duing the fight and put him in a head lock...every eye witnsses said that they didnt see jack man putbruce in ahed lock...the thing is every one embellishes it ishuman nature to embellish! Is it not easier to strike a mountain than it is to strike a fly!
Iron Arahat Posted December 18, 2001 Author Posted December 18, 2001 I think we will never know the truth about the fight. The article source is printed at the top of the article mastertae. I think that the fight was not as Hollywood as people like to see it in their mind's eye. The JKD Kid Posted December 18, 2001 Posted December 18, 2001 I think its interesting that in an all out fight, with no pads, gloves , or head gear, that Wong only had a scratch above his eye, and that the fight lasted 20, to 25 min's acording to Wong. Do you really think an all out fight COULD last 20 mins? I don't think so. I've seen old Bruce Lee footage and that man was amazingly fast. And true Wong could of been really good also. But for him to last 20 mins in a fight with there skill? It just wouldn't of happend. I think we all know Wong probably got beat bad, and he was just ashamed and tryed to make himself look good. There might be some truth to his story, maybe he didn't get beat as badly as Bruce said, but all in all, I'm very sure that Bruce beat him. mastertae Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 It was a fight both regretted and both must have been good if they both walked away with almost no hint of a fight Is it not easier to strike a mountain than it is to strike a fly!

Stold Posted February 19, 2003 Posted February 19, 2003 Remember, you guys have to picture the 24 year old bruce lee, NOT the bruce lee you saw in enter the dragon. Dorky haircut, bit of fat...Not nearly as intimidating or as fast. I have a question though. Bruce Lee never completed his Wing Chun training. Yet he was teaching wing chun in his own school. UNQUALIFIED INSTRUCTOR ALERT!
