Drunken Monkey Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 yeah but aston martin vanquish... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
battousai16 Posted January 1, 2004 Posted January 1, 2004 ah, i'm not much of a car guy. still, "London calling to the faraway towns Now that war is declared-and battle come down..." hmmm... an interesting point though, as cool as the Aston Martin DB5 (that being the definitive bond car) is, does it really top the batmobile? "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
delta1 Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 ...as cool as the Aston Martin DB5 (that being the definitive bond car) is, does it really top the batmobile? You've got to be joking, right? Bonds cars allways top the ugly fiberglass monstrosity with fake rocket flames that the aero-rodent drives! Can you immagine going on a date in the bat-wheels? No back seat, to start with. But Bond allways seems to fit a full suite into his, complete with bar, and the car has auto pilot. No wonder BM (cool initials) just drives around with Wrobn while JB gets the girls! I'll take double 0 status any day over double ugly! Freedom isn't free!
monkeygirl Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 Does Batman ever actually do undercover work as Bruce Wayne? That seems like a huge disadvantage to me (if he didn't). James Bond can at least blend into his surroundings. Batman is only welcome at a costume party. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
Drunken Monkey Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 but have you heard the noise a vanquish makes? it is really amazing. 'fruity' is the only way to describe it. almost as good as the noise from a lagonda v8.... as for the DB5, well, not my cup of tea. they could've used a better looking one. too bad they didn't have the zagato gt. sorry, i shouldn't have started on the car rants. i can go on forever... ok, back to the thread. i think the batmobile doesn't really suit the 'ideals' of the character (apart from the one from 'dark knight returns'). the batmobile doesn't instill fear and it makes the point that batman is ultimately a man (which weakens his 'power'). batman is at his best when he comes and goes without a trace and with no help from any machines. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
sano Posted January 2, 2004 Author Posted January 2, 2004 batman has the JL on his side they have super powers enough said. and the guy who said the books make bond sound real good. man people do not read books anymore it's all about t. v. so drawings would beat words anyday. falcon kick!!!
sano Posted January 2, 2004 Author Posted January 2, 2004 wait a minute drunken monkey has goku. him whats up with that. falcon kick!!!
Drunken Monkey Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 i thought it was the dude from that snk game, can't remember the name... and this was about bond vs batman. not the justice league against bond. but then again, if batman has to ask the justice league to help him against bond then i think we have the answer to the original question. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."

Drunken Monkey Posted January 2, 2004 Posted January 2, 2004 and like i said. if he needs the justice league to help him deal with bond then i think we have the answer to the original question. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
