Apparently if you dropped a little sponge ball of the empire state building n it hit someones head they'd be branedamaged!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never heard of dropping a sandwich from the Empire State Building, but I have heard of dropping a penny from it. That theory was tested on a show called Myth Busters on the Discovery Channel, and it was concluded that it would not kill anyone or cause them brain damage; it would just hurt a lot.

Yes, an object will reach terminal velocity after falling for some time, a point at which the air resistance/drag becomes sufficiently great that it is as strong as the gravitational force attempting to speed up the object. This can easily be observed on objects with poor aerodynamics, like a sheet of paper (horizontal) or a beach ball.
