Kirves
There's only one Aikijujutsu school here (the mainline of Daito-ryu) and they don't do much alive training against resisting opponents.
SevenStar
judo or shuai chiao.
Kirves
No shuai shiao available here. Judo is one option, but I dislike the fact that all the beginners here are 10-15 year old kids. There rarely are any adult beginners (I've asked about it).
SevenStar
Is that the only judo club there? How old are the more advanced guys?
Spookey
Dear Sir, I am familiar with these rules as I do corporate security (these are standard law enforcement rules of force in the USA). Judo is a great art (which I practice regularly)! However, in North America several seminars are available on the specific topic of arrest and control! Arrestling, is a system that was created by and for law enforcement...it contains takedowns, controls, and weapons retention, as well as practical defensive techniques against weapons! Furthermore, Master Tak Kuboto and several other well known Masters teach these types of tactical programs with a more "martial" setting. Please contact me personaly with your regional location...I may be able to help you make contact with a program in your area! TAEKWON! Do not defend against an attacker, but rather become the attacker...Destroy the enemy!TAEKWON!
