Warp Spider
Another thing, this took place over 2 yrs ago making the girls 11, and the suspects 35 and 36 ..................do the math Actually it says they were 13 at the time. And although I don't want to seem like I condone that sort of thing, what if it was consensual? I realize that it would still be against the law, but still, I've met several girls who were "victims" of statutory rape but don't consider it to have been a negative experience. I realize that it would still be against the law, but still, I've met several girls who were "victims" of statutory rape but don't consider it to have been a negative experience. The whole point of statutory rape is that it does not really matter if the girls consider it a negative experience. I'm sure that the circumstances could mitigate the severity of the crime in the eyes of a jury, but it is a crime nonetheless. And in this case, we are talking about authority figures. Children look up to them just as they do to other adults like school teachers. There is no excuse for adults in these positions to allow these things to happen, let alone institgate them. (Assuming of course that it happened... innocent until proven guilty you know). This isn't a case of a 19 year old boy/man and a 17 year old girl. That's still illegal of course, but certainly more understandable circumstances.
MantisWarrior
its sick, immoral, and they deserve damnation i will never understand how God forgives us for the stuff we do. as a Christian i pray for both the children and the party at fault. as a martail artist i with to show them the meaning of honor. as a human being i wish to make them suffer. Fighting out of hate brings only disgrace.
