Treebranch
Once it's on I think it's nearly impossible, but I've seen a cage match where the guy go out. How he got out, I don't know. kenpo4life
Straight arm bar, easy. Turn your body so that you are no longer perpindicular to the person applying the lock. Turn so that your body and his are in a straight line. Works for me. If my survival means your total destruction, then so be it.
Kensai
Yea, but if its a lock and you turn I just lean back and break your arm. If you get out, it means that it was not on and I am at fault and that your skill has got you out of my 'pre-lock'. Once a lock is on its on, hence its name.... A LOCK. Cybren
I said that silly quote from Dudley Doowright for a reason. Every lock can be picked. Unfortunatally, some require damage to the mechanism (IE, your arm/leg)
CaptainHeelHook
How about a straight armbar once it's on?quote] There's a counter. If the guy is sloppy with his leg placement you can pin his top leg to the ground with your head and twist your body until you end up in his guard. Everything has a possible counter. The trick is to apply a technique perfectly enough that they can't execute the counter, or don't have time to because you've set them up so well. I'll procrastinate later
