TJS Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 Is a Movie Just released on video by the Machado brothers, while it is a VERY low budget movie and dosent really have a plot or great acting it does have one thing, It has some great fight seens that show how BJJ is/would be used in real situations. I think alot of people would be suprised by some of the fighting stuff in it. If you intrested In seeing that aspect of BJJ i would reccomend it.
three60roundhouse Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I know it's a biased book because the author is a close personal friend of the family, but Kurt Pelligro's book "the Gracie Way" tells of a lot of the street fights that took place when BJJ wasn't really known at all. 1st dan Tae Kwon DoYellow Belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu16 Years OldGirls kick butt!
PhilM1 Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 some people at my studio were talking about it . i heard its budget was so low that it was like a "high school production". i also heard the acting and dialect wasn't so great either. fight til you die
cross Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 Who's cares what the acting is like.. the best martial arts films of all time have the worst actors of all time.. Just watch it for the fight scenes
