JeffN10 Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 A couple weeks back, I remember seeing some type of MMA competition on ESPN (I believe). It was something along the lines of 1 round boxing, 1 round kickboxing, 1 round grappling. If anyone has any info on this competition please let me know. I can't find any info anywhere.
TJS Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 I remember hearing something about it..dont remember the name of it, i dont think I had ever heard of it before.
SaiFightsMS Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I know what you are talking about I just can't think of its name.
Guy_Mendiola Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 isn't it called K1 Championship or something?
TJS Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 isn't it called K1 Championship or something? thats somethign else, although it is a mma type event
Northren Ogre Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 Was it Shodakan(sp?) or something like that? http://prkickboxing.tripod.com
Scorcho Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 MMA on ESPN? Post the next time you see it (or even better, let us know ahead of time). It ticks me off that almost all MMA is Pay-Per-View. sano Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 all my god the all the times i been talking about it, you guys have been ignoring me. ITS SHIDOKAN!!! http://Http://www.shidokan.com Cung Le, Shonie Carter and many of the famous fighters on today came for shidokan. and shidokan has some open full contact tournaments too. falcon kick!!!
Drunken Monkey Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 yes we've been through this before. it might be full contact but it has a lot of limits on where you can hit. that's like saying 'yay, i'm allowed to drive at 200mph.... but only on this road that i can't get to'. and since when have you talked about shidokan? if mentioning it's name is talking about it, then most people will have to agree with me when i say you talk more about tekken, wwe, dragonball, and WHEN you enter a competition.... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
SaiFightsMS Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 Was it Shodakan(sp?) or something like that? That is it. It is pretty cool competition to watch too.
