Alternative forms of conditioning?

Getting ready for a fight with a minimum of roadwork. :cry:

 

I got four months to prepare for a fight and I have problems with my feet. They kill me if I run more than 2miles a day. Any ideas on alternative exercises that will give me enough stamina in the ring.

Try a low-impact cardio machine like those elliptical ones. Even a bike would work, as long as you're getting cardio without being on your feet.

shadow boxing - twelve 3 min rounds

 

jumping rope - five 3 min rounds

 

bag work- eight 3 min rounds

 

then, hit https://www.trainforstrength.com and check out scrapper's bodyweight workouts.

 

If you have access to a partner during these training sessions you're starting, add sparring in.
