I don't know of any online. I do share your enthusiasm for the cane as a weapon though. I've only been questioned by ordinary folks as to why I carry a cane with me in public. I tell them I had a tragic Tonka truck accident as a child and that takes care of it. As for everyone else, what are they going to say? You even get special service at airports when you have a cane. They even give you a ride to your gate in the little cart. :)

I'VE FOUND THE ANSWER!

I have a cane master cane and love it. Most of the karateka in my dojo own cane master canes...but I think I found a cheaper way to go. I recently went to a hardware store and found a 'hardwood' stockmans cane. It's unfinished at 38" long and I only paid $8.04 (Canadian) with tax for it. A friend of mine will add ANY of the special features of cane master combat canes including sanding and tung oil finish for only $20 bucks.

The wood is very hard, I'm thinking maple. Maple after it's finished is fine for cane work, I own a shillelagh made of the stuff.

If you have any tools buy one and try finishing it yourself. It's not that difficult. I've done one and it turned out okay. I gave it to a friend. A Dremel Tool works wonders with the right attachments.
