goshinman Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 aikidos hiji jime (standing kimura) Tapped out, knocked out, or choked out...Take your pick.http://jujitsu4u.com/http://www.combatwrestling.com/http://gokor.com/
Kensai Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 I think something like Nikkyo and juji jime can be pretty painful. Also, rear naked, Sangaku (triangle choke) and Juji gatame.
Kensai Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 Just a correction, I ment Hiji jime which is a standing arm bar, different to a flying armbar. The technique that goshinman is trying to discribe is actually called Udegarame-nage. Which is the Kimura (BJJ name) or Udegarme (Drooping Tulips/Judo name) from a standing position into a throw, hence the 'nage' ending. Cheers.
Tang So Do Master Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 Musha Dori. In other words, it is an arm bar. I just started taking judisu, and I've grown an intrest in grappling, adn jeet kun do. Anyway, basically, u use your let as a lever against the person's elbow, which applies pressure, which equals pain!!! Very painful, even against my sensi, who is 40 yers old and strong. If u want to take a look at the different techniques each different style of martial arts, i suggest downloading the Discovery special Extream martial arts. It shows each arts strenghths and weaknesses. Give it a look. I'm 12 yrs old, and I've been taking tang so do for 9 years and Judistu for about 3. I just want to find out, how old is the range of people using this forum? I want to know who my audience is I know judisu and Tang So Do
