tkdgirl30616 Posted November 27, 2003 Posted November 27, 2003 Hey everyone! I was wondering who all does training camps? I mean like do yall have a camp where only black belts can go? Because we have one of those in June and then we compete together. Then in the Winter time you get to go if you are a Green or above. And do yall get recognized in what yall do? Like we have schools all around the US and even in England. I know that we are nationally recognized. If yall could answer that, it would be great! Thanks!! aefibird Posted November 28, 2003 Posted November 28, 2003 My organisation (the FSK) doesn't have specific training camps, but we do have day courses and week-end courses led by the chief instructor and/or a guest instructor. You have to find your own accommodation for the week-end courses, though, which led to 5 people from my club trying to cram into a 3-man tent last summer... The best of the courses that we have over the year is the one in December because it combines a days training (for all grades) with the Annual General Meeting afterwards followed by the Christmas fancy dress party. Training, a good argument at the AGM and a party to follow - what more could you ask from a day?!?! "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..."
