SaiFightsMS Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 Sigh, It may take me a week to replace my tv.
Reklats Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 Ok, its the first commercial break right now. My reactions to the first part: They're a bunch of cheerleader ballerinas, and that was the wussiest most improperly done armbar I've ever seen. I love the monk guy with the twirly baton attached-to-your-hand knife things. paraphrase: "when you get blood on your weapons it makes them penetrate the skin easier.... plus it gets you so pumped up.... AAAAAAA!" Holy ****. You've never stabbed anyone. Go twirl your pom poms somewhere else. Ok, back on now....
stl_karateka Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 its 18 min in and I just tuned in so I missed that part----I came in on Tom Cruise talking about kata...no comment yet I thought I saw a glimpse of a team CJB gi --- guess we will see (CJB is a team on the NASKA circuit) KarateForums.com Sempai
stl_karateka Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 OK not crazy it was a team CJB gi --- there were US OPen clips...I saw team straight up, daniel sterling and of course casey marks KarateForums.com Sempai
Reklats Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 If I knew nothing about martial arts, I would assume that martial arts is all about dancing by watchign this. Here's teh guy talking about point fighting: "I always get punched in the face! I hate getting punched in the face! I hate it I hate it!(whining)" (then a clip of people point sparring)
Reklats Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 *sigh* So far there's no realism to this at all. It's all kata dancy ballerina *.
