I've been looking to bring an instructor to my school's rec center to teach a class or two per week. The problem is they all seem pretty hesitant to do so without asking for a good deal of money. Unfortunately, being college students, we cannot pay $15 dollars per person per class (or guarantee $150 dollars per session) to train. We have a Copoeira (sorry if I mangled the spelling) instructor coming who is asking a mere $5 per person. Any suggestions? Am I being unreasonable regarding cost (I know $15 dollars isn't a bad price, but I thought they'd help us out seeing as how we are students)? I am in the South Jersey area.

It depends on the experience level of the BJJ instructor i guess. if they already have succesful school/buisnesses they might want more than if they were a small school or just getting started.

Most instructors would be like that. College students don’t have the cash to the club. Unless you can talk your school into paying to make it a class, it is doubtful any instructor would do this.
