Icetuete
would taking karate at a community college be good? taking martial arts classes is always a good idea if its not too expensive, you get along well with the instructor and class mates... then go for it as to the street fighter... check your post in the combative arts forum! Pacificshore
The best way to defend against the street fighter is......not to get into one. Nuff said Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
TangSooGuy
The answer to both your questions depends entirely upon the instructor, the class itself, and whether it is right for you. that said, I know a lot of great martial artists who got started in college programs Heck, i met my wife at our college's Tang Soo Do classes.... aefibird
The best thing to is to go along and watch a class. Don't be afraid to ask the instructor questions!! There's nothing wrong in taking a karate class at college, but you need to check it out and make sure that its a good class; there's no point wasting your time with a McDojo... WolverineGuy
It's not the location of the school, its the quality of the instruction. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon."
