I've voted Nunchaku because its so cool! and Bruce Lee has made it ledgendary, I mean its two sticks and a ball bearing chain WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!

I put bo, because you can keep your distance from the target. I wish I could also have voted for the Tonfa, because it is also a very effective weapon.

Rich: A traditional nunchaku uses two sticks with twine holding them together, no chain and certainly no ball bearing.

Short, bladed weapon. You know, not unalike those you have in kitchen or use for cutting wood. You just utilize the thing to open up human beings.

This topic is kind of wrong. There is no "karate weapon", because karate means empty hand. It should be: What is your favourite MA weapon.

I picked nunchaku as my favorite, although it is a tough call. They are extremely versatile, and effective at several different ranges. Plus, they have an interesting sort of mystique to them... in that people who have never used them tend to be very intimidated by the thought of using them.

In terms of practicality though, I love the yawara stick and the chizukenbo.

I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
