How many katas do you know?

I know a couple of the ones TangSooGuy posted, minus about 6... Also picked up bassai sho and another staff form along the way.

I should note there are also secret Tang Soo Do drinking forms whose names I won't even mention for fear of being forced to perform them :)

I'm no longer posting here. Adios.

Anyone learn kata/forms a head of time? I know taegeuk 7 now, and I'm not supposed to ...... ssshhhh. Hehehehe :D Actually my instructor doesn't mind if we learn our next form a head of time.

Yeah, I used to try and learn my kata before I had to. That way I had plenty of time to iron out my many mistakes before I would be tested on it!! lol

I even know a couple of Nidan kata now and I don't take my Shodan until December 14th. Aaaagh, my black belt test is getting scarily close...

If I'm honest with myself, after 25 years training in Wado Ryu, I am still learning, so can I say I really know the katas? the answer has to be "no I do not".

well, that certainly makes for an extremely boring discussion :)
