Both. Kodokan Judo.

Both are really good, try to practice both, so you know how to use your hands and a little of grappling :)

Boxing. Because knocking someone out is effective!

But I'd much rather learn to use all my body parts to fight.

700 hours of official training. Injury finished me dammit!

Very Tough Call, boxers are tough but i would proabably say Judo

you just want to roll around on the floor admit it :P

I'll admit I found it hard to concentrate sometimes when one of the attractive female karate students was kicking nicely :)

MMouse, I would go with boxing.

Please give some comparative reasons as to why you would choose one over the other (e.g.: I would personally choose Judo because I'm small, and the style is practically designed for small people, utilizing leverage. Also, I love to kick, so boxing isn't a good fit for me.).

Alot depends on your build. I'm a boxer, but I'm also 6'1", 172 lbs. Having as much power as it develops as a heavyweight is excellent, but as a smaller person, it becomes mostly based on speed and footwork, and less on power. Like we say in boxing, "A haymaker from a lightweight feels like a jab from a heavyweight".

i would pick probably boxing or judo depending on the teacher in the area :) . So to answer your question, find a good teacher.
