hajime Posted October 25, 2003 Posted October 25, 2003 Wado Ryu Karate contains locks, holds and throws as well as all the standard Karate stuff. so you get to punch them, grab them, spin them to the ground and THEN kick them but only when training of course! 700 hours of official training. Injury finished me dammit!1st Kyu Wado Ryu

Guy_Mendiola Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 i got a question for all you guys is kempo got to do with jiu-jitsu or based on that style?
Reklats Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 http://www.roycegracie.com/rgjjn/rgjjnlisting.htm I think kenpo is karate, which is nothing like bjj.
Treebranch Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Kempo is to believed to come from a Master from China who went to Korea and was then brought to Japan where most of they fighting arts were referred to as Jujutsu.
