Patrick
I am not sure the cause, a hack of SOME sort, but some of you know of the problems we had this morning. It is basically the erasure of the database. However, as for such a case, we make a backup a couple times a day and I uploaded the latest good backup back into the database and we may have lost a few posts, which I am sorry about, but we shouldn't have lost that many. Thank you for your time and patience. Please accept my apologies. Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com? Karateka
I am glad that this was resolved. I woke up this morning to find that the site was not working. I looked in the email section and I automatically emailed Tobias Reece and Patrick. I hope that nothing like this ever happens again. Tobias_Reece
Hi all I think the reason Karateka emailed me is because I was the only staff member left on the site. Even though I couldn't do anything, it was nice that you emailed me C ya Tobias "You Are Never Given A Dream Without Also Being Given The Power To Make It True. Kickbutt
Hey Patrick - I came on to the site and just thought - "NOT AGAIN!!". Good that you have back-up tapes though - but what a pain in the butt!! Anyways, good work and it's good to see everyone back on the site... !
