  1. because of my religious beliefs. i am buddha. we are all buddha. buddha
  2. have fun. we (my wife and i) would love to take the kids (all four of em) to africa or some place incredible like that... the cost is the only problem. the last big trip we took was to the west coast of canada last summer and it was amazing. cost a fortune, but it was incredible. buddha
  3. geez, i'm a poet, but i'd find it hard to do anything with martial arts though... and it is something that i am quite passionate about. when would you need this by? buddha
  4. straight right leg fake kick, stop short, then as they are blocking low, right hand ridge to their temple. buddha
  5. yeah lori, i have a few daughters as well... i wrote 'The Finger Prince' for them. i've written a couple children's picture books as well. those are fun to write... so long as you get it right (no pun intended).
  6. thanks for the kind welcome all. nice forum you have here. yes lori, i'm roger. thanks for the compliment on the book. i wrote it for my son (he was into young adult horror novels at the time... still likes horror, though he has progressed to king and others recently). 'the dying place' did fairly well, though not as well as my collection of poetry and short fiction. anyway, enough about that.
  7. now, now... in the interest of fairness, i did just check out their site, and i found this. "The use of Neural Offensive LinguisticsTM is not restricted to combat training--Offensive Mind-Set can be taught to anyone, for any purpose, to increase performance. The key is in isolating words associated with reactive thinking and replacing them with proactive words: Defensive block evade defender self-defense try Offensive strike penetrate fighter hostile control do" it does appear that they have their basics down. it is apparently much better to make those business men wonder what words they should be thinking of when confronted in a hostile situation... Buddha (for those who don't know me, i'm a sarcastic bastard, so don't take this post seriously.)
