  1. Unfortunatley I am always injured. Today I showed up for work with a fat lip and bruises all over my face. I do have to say though that it was all my fault. I was holding the thai pads for someone much stronger than I am and was not paying attention and took a kick right in the face. Usually I show up for work with bruises especially on my shins and sometimes on my arms. I am glad it is winter so I can wear pants all the time. A few days ago someone at my work asked me if I was being abused and I had to explain to her what I do. I try to be careful because I do have a job that requires me to go out and meet with clients and it is a little embarassing to meet them and have to explain now why I have bruises on my face. My poor boyfriend hates going out with me in public because he gets dirty looks.
  2. Hello, I am a female and take Muay Thai classes 3 times a week and love it. It's tough and I am really sore and a bit bruised but I have learned so much. There are a few girls in the class.
  3. Hello, I would have to agree. I have been taking Muay Thai classes for about 3 months and I go to the club 2-3 times a week and I feel that I feel that I have learned lots of self defense moves that would help me if I ever needed to. I also take some wrestling classes in order to learn some of the groundwork. It has been great!
  4. Hi Kirby, this is my first time here and never done anything like this but I read your post and it caught my attention. I just started kickboxing 2 months ago and so far love it. I have been taking 3-4 classes a week but have found that the kickboxing alone is not enough for me so I looked at the schedule that you have and I think that I am going to try it as well. I have started jogging on my days off of class and swimming but this week I am going to start the weights and see how I do. Thanks for posting the schedule and good luck.
