  1. Nope. Why should i? I know where i'm going. I'd glady give my life for one of my loved ones. In fact, my ideal death is to go down fighting rather than die in my bed. Think of it this way if you are Christian, well u know where ur going, its betetr than here, i'd go now if i could but suicide will prolyl send u soemwhere else. And for atheists, well u have even less to be afraid of don't u? once ur gone ur gone u won't mind, u'll be gone. say, ur asleep and someone waves a hand infront of ur face, u don't care nor do u even realize it. u won't exactly be complaining, its the undecided that have fear. On onehand if they dun commit themselves to Christ they'll go to hell, but then the may say, what if there is no God and then fear oblivion...as the scorpion king says "Live free, die well" KAMIKAZEE!!!
  2. Hey guys, i was thinkin of startin some tai chi on the side ya know. Does anyone here know exactly what i'm supposed to do as i meditate or pratice the form? thx alot guys
  3. The arts i think that have most impacted EFS are likely Karate, Muay Thai and BJJ, however it would depend on the practitioner as to which on most influences them, see my post about "EndZones". Thanxs aboutt he name thing, it is kinda coll, i was hopin ppl wouldn't think it was a bit too flashy.
  4. 1. Fight in which ever range YOU are best at, or at least in the range that ur opponent is least comfortable but better to keep him in ur "EndZone". 2. Don't stop till he's down and not getting up. 3.Strike first 4.Always use combos but not to the extent that u tire urself out 5. Vary ur targets, head, body, legs etc. dun keep attacking the same target.
  5. G95, you realize that Tito is just makin a persona for himself, he's supposedly a real good guy in real life he's juss tryin to spice things up wit the whole bad boy attitude, its prolly what has made him so popular.
  6. First of all i just want to say that by creating EFS i mean no disrespect to any of the traditional martial arts. I've heard that although Frank Dux was a very bad person character-wise and also abused his Martial Arts Skill that his style was still quite effective. But you dont have to worry about another 'Dux Ryu Hybrid', EFS is meant to be an open-ended compelation of effective techniques and strategies from several different diciplines, NOT a 'Neo-Ninjutsu McDojo'.
  7. I live, and teach in Brampton, Ontario. As for using it effectivly, some guy jumped me totally un-expectedly into a kinda sloppy guillotine, so i double-legged him and gave him a pressure point to the head, needless to say i walked away unscathed. Another time, some hot-head attacked me in a blind rage, for what reason im still unsure of. Either way i dropped him with a picture perfect sidekick to the solar plexus. Those are just a few examples of the EFS being applied. Using my martial arts skill and EFS ive since gained respect and credibility in my community. Any further feedback would be great. Yours in the Martial Arts, EFS Intructor Matt
  8. Hi, I'm his instructor, EndZone Freestylist does not currently have any FORMAL training aside from my instruction but will soon be starting SAMBO. I've been developing this system for about 3 years and am continuing to do so. And yes, I do have interest from other individuals wanting to train in this system. My life revolves around martial arts and i assure you that i would never create a 'McDojo'. I hope that this style does not come off as the 'McDojo down the street' that is just trying to make money and look unique at the expense of quality training and effective techniques. I assure you that every student i teach recieves excellent training and taught proven techniques. Besides, most of our techniques are taken from other styles, so obviously they work. I'm just trying to peice together a system that caters to the specific strengths and weaknesses of its practitioners. Thanks for your input!
  9. I find that the easiest techniques to apply are side-sleeper and achillies tendon lock.
  10. The GRACIES are skilled, but by no means invincible. They seem to think that everytime they they come close, or DO lose.... somethign is 'unfair'. They need to stop with the excusses.... SUCK IT UP PRINCESS....
  11. How could a lack of respect make someone not a martial artist?¿? So if someone trains for 25 years and swears at an opponent, he's not a real Martial Artist?! Of course Tito's a champion, he's got the belt don't he? As for Frank, maybe Tito's not as good as him but, it doesnt make Tito any less of a Champion. .................. But for the record, Kazushi Sakuraba kills 'em all.... AZN PRIDE!
  12. I think that 1 of the reasons could be that most people can punch and therefore relate more with Western Boxers. Also, grappling matches can be boring for those who dont really understand the finer points. That could go for any sort of martial arts fighting. Aswell, Hollywood portrays martial arts as more fantasy then reality with all the fancy flying kicks and impossible speed - real martial arts fight just doesnt look the same.
