  1. hmmm ... well im pretty light - so i do alotta work from guard - im also pretty lucky that ive gotta really flexable legs so the *triangle* is my specialty - i can snap it on pretty quick without having to adjust my legs with my hands too much - and one ive got it on - i like rolling over into guard =) - its great !!
  2. Thanks alot 360, and yeah, we do take alota pride in our style. Confidence is a must for street survival!! With out it you're nothing but a fish outta water!! Before i started trining in EFS I had a lack of self confidence. Buts since starting to train my confidence has imporved 10 fold!
  3. As part of our training, we emphasize on a specific fighting range that each EFS fighter feels most comfortable in. For example long range ( for those who perfer kicking at a safe distance) medium range ( for those who perfer hand strikes and close range kicks ) close range ( for those who are most comfortable with close-quarter combat techniques such as elbows, knees, headbutts and the clinch. ) and grappling range ( for those perfer to take te fight to the ground or throw their opponent. ) Personally I perfer to fight at close range, so this would be the area that I emphasive my training on (without leaving out other techniques from different ranges), and this would be refered to as my 'EndZone' because this range would be where I feel most comfortable and could most easily end a fight.
  4. I just wanna take this time to say 'thanks alot' to everyone out there for taking the time to write back and support our growing system! And yeah... my instructor works me like a dog! Feel free to continue to post any feedback/question!
  5. Greetings, I am new here and would like to tell you all about my unique style of martial arts, its called EndZone Freestyle Fighting Systems. My instructor has taken martial arts formally but finds each art quite lacking and incorperated usable techniques from different diciplines into an effective system for striking and grappling. Together with my instructor we are expanding the style, any extra techniques are welcomed as long as they are practical enough for street fighting/NHB. To us an effective style must be open ended, rather than rigid, although we are all working to further structure our unique style without closing the door to possibly useful techniques/strategies. Some of the styles we've incorperated techniques from are: Karate, Muay Thai, Judo, BJJ, Sambo, kickboxing as well as modifying existing techniques to improve them as best we can to fit our personal strengths and weaknesses. Any comments or questions about EndZone Freestyle Fighting Systems are welcomed.
