  1. What do you all think the best methods for sparring in class are? We like to spar every class at least 30 mins or half of the class. Classes are mostly 1 hr to 2hrs. Consisting of slow flowing sparring to full speed contact sparring. We always spar anything goes, of course certain attacks have to be pulled back before contact or people would allways get hurt. But if they punch me and I grap their arm and trip them then that's what goes.
  2. I think my favorite would be a jump spining side kick to the head. Like the SanShou guy did in the fight with a thai boxer.
  3. I always stay as tense as possible as to absorb as much of the blow as I can and then counter. Sometimes the part of my body that even moves while in a sparring stance is my feet as I am bouncing up and down.

  5. I have a question to all of you TKD'ers out there. TKD is mainly a kicking art. I took TKD for about 4 years when i was younger. But what do you all do to training for real combat? I don't mean point sparring or olympic sparring, of course. But do you train for a possible clinching or ground fighting range?
