  1. Bo, Kalisticks, but mainly a weighted Machete.
  2. Momentum Incarnate (i belive that was the name he settled on) by Mestre Marum
  3. I have trained very little in Akido, but i have used it in a real world application. id like to say it worked wonders, but it didnt. it got the job done, and it did stop the confrontation before anybody got seriously hurt, so i consider that a sucess. my native MA is capoeira, and switching between thoes two styles is so difficult. At their very nature they feel like polar opposites. i wish i could continue my akido training but my instructor had went into the air force, and left for iraq, leaving me with a thirst for it, but not much training completed.
  4. While both are efficent, i prefer the control of the straight sword. If you asked me to pick one weapon, and one weapon only, to use the rest of my life, i would choose a good weighted Machete, Capoeira style. Control for me is more important than anything else. I have nowhere near the power that most of my friends do, but i have more control and speed than all of them put togather, so usually i can pull off things that they think are impossible. For me the broadsword is more power than finess, while it can be alot harder to block, it takes alot more skill/talent to use a broadsword good enough to get the same abilities posessed by the straight sword.
